How To Style The Shacket

When I saw this particular version of the popular “shacket” I knew that I HAD to have it! This shacket is made from a soft cotton fabric and the perfection is in the details including front button closure, breast flap pockets with button closures, screen printed graphics, shoulder epaulettes, buttoned cuffs, and frayed hem. Styling a wardrobe staple several ways is what makes it worth the buy in my mind. Check out four ways that I styled this shacket below, it is also available in white if olive is not your thing! I personally consider olive green a great “neutral” as it compliments so many other colors and can be worn year around.

Styled for Summer

A simple and universally flattering way to style the shacket is with a great pair on denim shorts, a graphic tee, and a pair of sneakers. These denim shorts are my go to because they have a 4″ inseam and do not show too much of leg or rear end. All I can say is can we get an amen for this graphic tee, I mean honestly, this is pretty much a universal thought over the past year! These Nike sneakers are a perfect neutral and have been a hit this Spring, they have been coming in and out of stock due to their popularity. They are a true classic.

Styled for Everyday Casual Chic

For an everyday classic look I paired this shacket with my favorite straight leg jeans, the best white tank that I have found in ages, this classic tote, and slides. Be sure and check out this white tank ladies, the fabric is thick and the shoulder detail is adorable. These slides are a major splurge item but are so comfortable and classic. I am including a save version for these jeans and slides in the thumbnails below.

Styled for Business Casual // A Night Out

I love that this shacket can easily styled for casual office attire or a night out. This shacket is paired here with these fabulous line blend trousers, a pink bodysuit, and wedge sandals. These trousers are a fabulous find. The tab close flat front is very flattering, they are fully lined, and fit and feel like a dream. I love the length as it is perfect for showing off a great pair of sandals. This bodysuit is my top choice because it is not a thong (I hate them!) and the straps are wide enough that you can wear a regular bra with it. All of these pieces are wardrobe staples that will stand the test of time!

Styled Over a Casual Dress

I loved this coral and olive combo so much that I had to share this look as well. This casual dress has such a flattering cut and compliments the style of this shacket. This dress is double lined, has pockets, and is such an easy piece for Spring!
