With fall right around the corner and many kids and teachers already back to school I thought that it would be helpful to share affordable teacher and business casual looks. Many people are headed back to the office in some capacity, and sweats on the bottom and a blouse on top, aka the “zoom” uniform, may be frowned upon 🙂. The items that I am sharing in these looks are great staple items, and are meant to be able to mix and match thus maximizing your wardrobe. Sizing recommendations for every item are mentioned below each photo, happy back to school/the office!

This sweater is incredibly soft and has zero itch factor, wearing small. These flat front/side zip pants have a nice fit and are very versatile. Wearing small.
These are THE BEST PANTS! I love the elastic waist, a removable tie, and are very stretchy and comfortable. Get them in every color, they are fabulous. This blouse is around $20 and comes in lots of colors and patterns. The sleeve and neck ruffle detail are just enough detail to make this top stand out.
The classic trench coat is a fantastic wardrobe staple that will never go out of style. The double lapels are so feminine and make such a statement. The material is water resistant and has some stretch making it very comfortable. The a-line cut is very flattering, I’m wearing the small and this is also available in camel.
These pants are just as good in black, I cannot tell you how comfortable and flattering they are. This top has a cult following and is available in a ton of colors and patterns, wearing tts in a small.

Adding a blazer to this look easily elevates its style. This blazer is available in lots of colors for around $40. I am in the small but it is slightly tight across the shoulders, size up if in between sizes.
This blouse is a reader favorite and is available in several patterns, wearing small. It is legging friendly as it is long enough in the back to cover your rear. I love the slight flutter sleeve detail and the higher neck, a true classic!
This sweater is good year after year. It sold out last season in a flash, the red is amazing for the holiday season. The shoulder detail and extended cuffs are just enough to elevate its look. The material is almost silky soft, love. Wearing the small.
This “fancy sweatshirt” is just that. Moderate balloon sleeves, soft and subtle material, and several colors to choose from. Wearing the small.
Dress // Heels // Belt // Boots
I just adore this dress! The seaming is very flattering, the balloon sleeves are enough without being overwhelming, and the color is perfection for Fall. Think turkey day ladies, I cannot get enough of this one, wearing the small.
Let’s all take a minute for this top. I cannot believe that is is less than $20. The details and swiss dot material are just plain adorable. This is fully lined in the front and the back and the quality is fabulous for the price, wearing small.

Adding a blazer to any look automatically adds another dimension. This blazer from The Drop, wearing small, has a longer length and is a perfect wardrobe staple.
This dress has a built-in tie around the waist giving it a structured yet casual look. Pair this with a cardigan, denim jacket, or a blazer and its styling possibilities are endless, wearing xs.
This sweater has a cult following for its versatility. From work pants, to denim, to leather leggings, this works. The side slits give it a unique look and the longer length make this legging friendly. Wearing the small.
